IH/M&RS — Hospitality's
Show of Shows
Diverse Food and Beverage Products and Services on Display for Military Buyers
Hospitality and foodservice personnel, including
those from the military, gather in New
York City for the 97th annual International
Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show (IH/M&RS), which
takes place Nov. 10-13, 2012, at the Jacob K. Javits
Convention Center.
More than 25,000 attendees and 700 exhibitors
are expected for this year's show, which offers a diverse
cross-section of products and services spanning
every facet of the hospitality industry, including food
and beverage, furnishings, technology, equipment,
linens, amenities, tableware, cleaning and more.
The theme of this year's event is “Hospitality's
Show of Shows,” representing what Show Manager
Lynn White called “a carefully organized show floor
of spaces dedicated to specific areas of the hospitality
industry.”
According to show organizers, the industry's
most influential buyers from hotels, casinos, resorts,
restaurants, purchasing companies, hospitality design
firms, corporate and healthcare institutions attend to source the
latest products staging their debut at the show, all organized
in an easy-to-shop format....
