               Otherwise, food and drinks can be
            ordered from any one of the four upstairs
            full-service bars at the club, and seat-
            ing is available next to the dance floor.
               On the dance floor, a combination
            of laser, strobe and black lights zoom
            around the room while attendees dance
            to live music performed by big-name
            DJs from Okinawa, Tokyo and other
            places around Japan.
               “I liked the club a lot, and I think it’s
            better than the old one,” said Lance Cpl.
            Megan Lahaye, USMC, a fixed-wing
            aircraft safety equipment mechanic with                                       avante-garde
            VMGR-152. “The music was nice, and
            the lounges were very comfortable.”
               Restrooms on both floors will have
            lockers available for those who want to
            store their belongings while at the club.

            SEPARATE ENLISTED CLUB
               The Hangar E-Club will be open
            Tuesday through Thursday from 7 p.m.
            to 12 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from
            5 p.m. to 2 a.m. It will be replacing the
            Landing Zone at Club Iwakuni.
               Club Iwakuni was a consolidated
            club serving the entire base prior to
            the Hangar E-Club’s construction and
            opening. It included an Officers’ bar,
            a Senior Non-Commissioned Officers’
            (SNCO) bar and an enlisted bar, along
            with events spaces and a large ballroom.
               The Landing Zone was the enlisted
