In addition to the room and amenities
changes, the hotel management software
was upgraded to Execu/Suite PMS from
Execu/Tech. “Our standalone computer,
because of security reasons, is not on
the Internet,” said Aldrete. “We had to
find software that was functional that
way. It does everything we ask for, ev-
erything I wanted done here. It is hard
to find things that aren’t cloud-based
these days.”
She also created a new comment
card for guest feedback. “It is slipped
beneath their doors before check out.
We take a really good look at those to
see how housekeeping or the front desk
did or any outstanding employee. They
are really good at putting down what we
need. Ninety-nine percent of the time
our comments are wonderful, which is
