Incirlik, Dover Take Top Air Force Honors
he Air Force recently announced winners of the 2018
TInnkeeper Awards for best lodging operations across the
service. The award, managed by the lodging division of the
Air Force Services Activity (AFSVA), recognizes inns that
provide the best hotel-type lodging and customer service to
Air Force travelers.
This year’s winners are:
• Large category: Incirlik AB, Turkey, U.S. Air Forces in
Europe − Air Forces Africa.
• Small category: Dover AFB, Del., Air Mobility Command

Lodging Manager Elmer P. Little calls it “a unique

this is not the first time it has received the Air Force
Innkeeper Award. It was also honored with the trophy
in 2004 and again in 2006.

team for their hard work and dedication providing
outstanding service to our guests,” said Maj. Marjorie
Molloy, USAF, 39th FSS commander. “Our facilities
aren’t unique, but what sets them apart is the obvious
care and attention to detail paid by the staff. From
